We are grateful to the corporations and institutions who financially support the 6th EPM conference and the print of the conference proceedings:
COST is an intergovernmental framework for European Cooperation in Science and Technology, allowing the coordination of nationally-funded research on a European level. COST creates scientific networks and enables scientists to collaborate in a wide spectrum of activities in research and technology. COST activities are administered by the COST Office.
The 6th EPM Conference is the final meeting of the European COST Action P17 “Electromagnetic Processing of Materials”. The financial support to the conference from COST is gratefully acknowledged.
The local Saxonian Ministry of Science and Art supports the conference and the participation of young scientists. We gratefully acknowledge this support.

The Collaborative Research Centre “Electromagnetic Flow Control in Metallurgy, Crystal Growth and Electrochemistry” (SFB 609) is a dedicated research activity in the fields of EPM and MHD, which is financed by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft DFG (German Research Foundation). For a period of 11 years it brings together teams from Technical University Dresden, Forschungszentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, Technical University Freiberg, and Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research Dresden. Besides the research works, the organization of workshops and conferences is also supported by DFG in frame of SFB 609.
